Within 15 minutes drive.

 Bratton Fleming Community Woodland Walk – a small car park can be found on your left as you head through the village, opposite the old pub. Dogs on Leads

Bratton Fishery – Fly Fishing - Postcode: EX31 4ST - Tel: 01271 850642 NO DOGS ALLOWED.

Wisterlandpound Reservoir – EX31 4SL - Walks and Fly Fishing. Coffee Cart in the car park Dogs allowed but should be kept on leads and out of the water..

Exmoor – There are plenty of places to walk on Exmoor, the nearest parking areas are on the road between Challacombe and Simonsbath. From here you can walk on to footpaths to explore the moors or join up with the Tarka Trail.

South West Coastal Path – There are various places that you can join the coastal path such as Combe Martin. Dog and owner will love these walks.

Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum.- EX31 4LP Set in 2,700 acres of grounds, are 20 miles of footpaths to explore, Formal Victorian gardens, gift shop and Tea-room. Dogs are welcome in the grounds, gardens & carriage museum.

Heddon Valley (National Trust) – EX31 4PY Fantastic Walks and shop.

Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway – This joins the rural town of Lynton and the coastal village of Lynmouth. Dogs are allowed.

Valley of the Rocks – 10 minute walk from Lynton, Amazing scenery and wildlife. 

Watersmeet (National Trust) EX35 6EP – Dogs must be kept on lead. Dramatic river gorge, ancient woodlands, tea garden and shop in stunning surroundings.

Lynton Steam Railway – Woody bay EX31 4RA (Dogs travel Free) - Steam trains through rolling countryside, with views out to wild moorland and the rugged coastline.

Glen Lyn Gorge Easter to October – Dogs allowed on lead.

Sea Fishing at Combe Martin (15-20 minutes drive) or Ilfracombe (30 minutes drive)

Within one hour drive.

Clovelly - EX39 5TA – An old fishing village which provides a great day out with plenty to see and do. Dogs welcome on lead.
